Hello all!
I've finally decided on our first book: The Piano Man's Daughter by Timothy Findley. I think it's enough of a "Canadian classic" that it shouldn't be too hard to find at the library.
I'm thinking we should plan to meet in mid to late September. What are your schedules like? I work until 9pm on Thursdays, so that's the only weeknight that doesn't work for me.
I'm happy to host at my place!
Katherine

Welcome back, Kat.
ReplyDeleteI am up for meeting in September as long as it's before the 25th. I am available on Tuesdays and Fridays, and every second Monday (although in September Mondays might not be the best time).
BTW does it mean that we should finish reading the book by the time of the meeting?
Anna
I work Tuesday nights til 9. Haha, so we've already narrowed it down to a Friday in September. Would Friday the 25th work? or Friday Oct 2?
ReplyDeleteBoth of those dates work for me!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay in responding. I went straight from 3 weeks of exam fun to a week of wedding craziness, and am just now getting back in touch with the rest of the world.
ReplyDeleteBoth the 25th and 2nd work fine for me.
Looks like 2nd works better for me afterall. So do we all agree with the date? ;)
ReplyDeleteOctober 2nd sounds good to me too. Sorry for not responding earlier!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Oct 2nd is pulling out as the winner, what time?
ReplyDeleteI am SO sorry girls, but 2nd is no good for me. However I can make it on the 25th (after 4PM). Can we PLZ PLZ PLZ switch it to the 25th???
ReplyDeleteI was also wondering if creating a Facebook group and sending mass messages would be easier for the schedule-related questions?
The 25th is fine for me, anything after 4. I'm pro facebook group, or email list or something. I keep forgetting to check-in here and I suspect I"m not the only one.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to meeting everyone.
